Municipal commissions

Commissions

The municipal commissions are working groups made up of deputies, municipal councilors and possibly outsiders with expertise in the areas covered.

They are responsible for studying the questions submitted to the Municipal Council, either by the departments or on the initiative of one of the members.

They prepare the work and deliberations of the Board. It is in these Commissions that the real work of drawing up municipal decisions is carried out.

They have no decision-making power. The City Council is the sole decision maker.
